Our Team

Susan E. Thomas CPA, Ltd is similar to the clients we serve.  Established in central Ohio and focused on a strong set of core values that allows us to maintain a confident and comfortable environment while driving forward in a complex and ever changing world.

Susan E Thomas, CPA

As the president and CEO, Sue has 25 years in the field of tax preparation and public accounting.  She believes that the clients she serves need more than just financial statements or a tax return. They need a trusted advisor that is willing to be pro-active, establish a long-term relationship and help them develop and achieve their financial goals.

Sue graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Accounting

She is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA's, The National Association of Tax Professionals, Hilliard Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Grove City Vineyard Christian Fellowship, a graduate of the 2009/2010, Leadership Hilliard class and a volunteer for the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio.

When Sue is not at the office, she enjoys gardening, sewing and embroidery and her children, Joshua and Jessica and her two grandchildren, Eve and Roxie.

Donna York

Donna has 37 years in accounting and bookkeeping, human resources and consulting including 15 years of experience in non-profit as the Chief Operations Officer for a Girl Scout Council in Georgia. She has a Masters in Business Administration from American InterContinental University in Atlanta, GA.  She is a Certified 2010 QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is currently working on her 2011 QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification along with her QuickBooks POS certification.  Donna is passionate about her work. She enjoys helping clients understand their financial statements and why their accounting books are set up in a certain way because once they understand it, they can then concentrate on profitability and how to be successful. 

She has been married to Dana, for 34 years, who is currently an Air Traffic Control contractor in Iraq where he has served as their Air Traffic Control Certification Instructor for the past 3 years. They have two grown children, David and Danielle, and 4 grandchildren, Dana Tayler, Alex, Morgan and Aiden.
